Our family tree is rich in Vancouver Island history. Captain George Stephen Butler settled on the Saanich Peninsula in 1862, and since then many hard-working and proud local business owners have flourished. Today, the Butler name is quite synonymous with Vancouver Island.
Five generations later, my brothers, sisters and I grew up and worked on a Peninsula farm, still “home” and in production today. When the time came, I went seeking the perfect balance of great outdoors and proximity to the city to raise my two children. I settled in Mill Bay where I live today.
I have always loved real estate. Through my life, I have worked in many industries, my experience in which, believe it or not, serves me well as a realtor. From co-owning a construction company, to accounting and legal positions, to high-end jewellery service, to Christmas tree sales (true story), I have come by my experience honestly ~ and with a little sweat equity. My path honed skills in client care, home evaluations and property appraisals and taught me a fortune about the people of Vancouver Island.
